David Licastro has a Bachelor of Music from California State at Sacramento. For the past 45 years he's been playing and teaching music on Whidbey Island. David is the expert you need for music instruction–all instruments, every level, all ages. Music instruction is at David’s Langley studio on beautiful Whidbey Island. When he’s not teaching music, he’s playing music. David plays with the Western Heroes, The Local Secrets, Deja Blooze, and Pete.
Western Heroes are a group of musicians that have been providing original dance music to the Whidbey Island community for 18+ years. From polka to punk their diverse collection of songs are all played with one goal in mind: to get people up and moving. David Licastro is the lead guitar player, vocalist, and songwriter. The Local Secrets is based in Langley, Washington, on Whidbey Island. The band, which plays a mix of originals and covers ranging from standards to folk to blues, was selected to play in the annual Local Artists Series at WICA. David Licastro plays lead guitar.
